Bedding Questions
Our bedding is 300 thread count.
Combed cotton is a softer version of cotton. It is made by further treating the cotton after it’s been picked, then spun into yarn. Compared to cotton - combed cotton is smoother and less prone to pilling.
Sateen is the type of weave. It describes a weave pattern featuring three warp threads that go over one weft thread. It is just as luxurious as satin but without the high price tag.
No, we do not offer Full size bedding, however our Queen Size comforters and duvet covers work well with full size beds!
No, we do not offer Cal-King size specific bedding, however our King Size comforters and duvet covers are designed a little bigger to fit both King and Cal-King size beds.
Our King Size Luxury Sheet Sets also fit Cal-King size bedding, with a little caveat -- there will be a small lift/misalignment of the seams at the bottom edge of the mattress, but it will still hold securely.
No, our duvet covers do not currently have corner ties. We are working towards including them in our next order of bedding!
BEDDING
You may wash your NOHO HOME comforters, duvet covers, sheets, and euro shams in the washing machine on gentle cycle using mild detergent.
Do NOT use bleach.
For best results, we recommend line drying your bedding to better preserve the quality and colors of the fibers, but you may also use a dryer on air dry -- do not use heat. Touch iron on reverse if needed.
PILLOWS & KITCHEN TEXTILES
You may wash your pillowcases and kitchen textiles in the washing machine on gentle cycle using mild detergent.
Do NOT use bleach.
For best results, we recommend line drying these items to better preserve the quality and colors of the fibers, but you may also use a dryer on low heat.
Touch iron on reverse if needed. The effectiveness of our DuPont Stain & Soil Release treatment will remain unaffected for many washes.
Product Questions
DuPont Stain & Soil Release is a fabric treatment built into the fabrics used to make our kitchen textiles and decor pillowcases.
This treatment is perfect for kids and pets as it repels dirt and liquids from soiling the fabric, long enough to clean up spills or stains.
Prolonged exposure to liquids (like in the case of laundering) will penetrate the fibers and remove any stubborn or leftover residue.
For our 20" x 20" square pillowcases, we recommend using 22" x 22" poly fill or 24" x 24" down-alternative insert to give your pillow a plush, filled look.
For our 12" x 20" lumbar pillowcases, we reccomend a 12" x 20" pillow insert.
Poly fills provide a firmer structure while down and down-alternative inserts allow for the infamous "pillow chop"!

Area Rug Questions
NOHO HOME area rugs are made with 100% hand-tufted wool.
"Hand-tufting" is a production technique used on area rugs where the weaver pulls 100% wool fibers through a thick canvas base with a special tool called a tufting gun.
The rug design is drawn on the underside of the canvas which the weaver "tufts" to fill in the design with colored fibers.
The hand-tufting process offers highly customizable production on projects where precision, scale, and time are of the essence.
We currently offer three area rug sizes:
5ft. x 8ft.
6ft. x 9ft.
8ft. x 10ft.
Looped pile construction features fiber tufts that come up and back down through a carpet base, creating an uninterrupted fiber loop.
Cut pile carpets are constructed in the same way as looped carpets except that the loops are then cut with shears, exposing the raw ends of the fiber to create a softer, fluffier look.
At NOHO HOME, we offer both types of pile area rugs, and even some utilizing a combination of both techniques!
We recommend vaccuuming and rotating your area rug regularly to prevent uneven wear patterns from foot traffic and sunlight exposure.
We also reccomend only using solvents and cleaners appropriate for wool rugs.
Fiber shedding is very common in the first few months after purchasing a hand-tufted rug. Shedding will eventually dissapate after regular vaccuming.
