表面はNOHO HOMEのシグネチャーデザインです。Kanuはデザイナーによるアワプヒの葉のグラフィックな解釈です。Kanuという名前はハワイ語で「植物」を意味し、NOHO HOMEのブランドロゴとして、デザイナーが会社内で、そしてさらにハワイ文化とハワイの地域社会内で成長の種を蒔きたいという意図を表しています。
