Iolani Palace Collaboration

In collaboration with The Friends of Iolani Palace, NOHO HOME presents the Palace Collection.

Debuting as a capsule collection of pillowcases and a luxury throw, the Palace Collection was designed to share stories of the Hawaiian monarchy and bring awareness to the rich history of Iolani Palace.

100% of proceeds from the Palace Collection will be donated to the Friends of Iolani Palace to support their efforts in perpetuating Hawaiian culture and history.

Kuiki Print

The Kuiki print is a modern representation of the beautiful patchwork quilt sewn by Queen Liliʻuokalani during the time of her imprisonment at Iolani Palace.

A quilt of many shapes and colors, each patch represents an important event or memory that was special to her.

Kīpola Hawaiian Print

The Kīpola print - translating to man "wrapped", or "bundled" in ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language) - is inspired by the story of daily delivery of fresh flowers, wrapped in newspaper, to Queen Liliʻuokalani during the time of her imprisonment at Iolani Palace.

The story speaks to the cleverness of the Hawaiian people and how they were able to keep the Queen informed of current events happening outside the Palace during her isolation.
