Wailani Originals Collaboration

Born out of the Hawaiian Renaissance of the late 1970's, Wailani Originals Hula Girl Creations mixed a love of Hawaiʻi with multi-cultural heritage and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Wailani's designs were some of the first that spoke to our unique island history, culture, and diversity in an authentic way.

As the education coordinator for the Polynesian Voyager Society, and then Entrepreneurial Training Specialist for the Native Hawaiian organization, Alu Like, it came natural to educate through design whilst promoting the use of ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi.
