A Loulu Hawaiian print tree skirt adds an elegant and festive island touch to your holiday decor.

The Loulu pattern center design showcases the natural beauty of Hawai`i's only indigenous fan palm, the Loulu. This native plant is distinguished by its fanlike shape and rigid, pleated leaves, realized in its namesake print. The print plays upon Hawai`i's seamless approach to indoor/outdoor decor with Loulu. Addionally, it adapts from the literal state into a bold, stylized graphic to bring strong visual elements of nature into the home.

In the outer edge design, Jalene Kanani seeks balance in all of aspects of design. Specifically, the Niho or "shark tooth" print is a prime example. A traditional kapa pattern often depicted as acute triangles, it bears reference to masculinity and aggression by way of the manō (shark).
